Region: Canada, Niagra Vintage: NV Score: 70% Opinion. This is a sparkling wine that has had a dash of ice-wine added. It’s pretty much exactly as you would expect, although the ice-wine adds very little little sweetness which was a bonus for me. Good with deserts or on its own.

Hegarty Chamans No 1 – Minervois 2004

Country: France Region: Minervois Score: 75% Vintage: 2004 Opinion: Wierd node. I googled the wine and someone said “spearmint” and I thinks that’s right. Taste is good; very smooth. Lots of berries, but also other interesting complications. The next day it was so much better.
